I can remember the
first time I ever smelled bacon being cooked over an open outdoor grill,
this usually happened when camping or boating. Breakfast isn't a meal
that you normally think of when your grilling, but it happens to be one
of my favorites to cook outside. With a hot cup of coffee in hand and
the right tools it will be very enjoyable for you to.
The best tool for
breakfast grilling is a griddle. We have the perfect size, the best griddle
to convert your grill to cook like a local diner is the Sizzle-Q. This griddle will give
you plenty of room to grill up some sausages, potatoes, omelets and the
greatest open air smell, Bacon. Another thing to look for in a griddle
is a good run-off area for the grease and fat. If your griddle overflows
grease onto the grill you could have trouble. Serious flare-ups can be
a problem so please be very careful. This is particularly true
if you have fatty sausages cooking on the grill next to the griddle.
Now with your grill
converted into Mama's Local Diner, there isn't a breakfast menu you can't
put together. Try your toast on the grill as well, a little butter on
one side and a quick toasting on the griddle.
My favorite meal off
the griddle? Eggs, over easy: Bacon cooked before the eggs so that some
of the bacon flavoring gets into the eggs and toast lightly toasted while
the eggs cook beside them.
Products for an amazing breakfast on the grill.
